Many times, as I traveled around the world, I would meet people they would ask me what I do for a living. I would then deliver my elevator speech" the three minute version" I would say that I traveled to places that need help, build a business and work with the different people in the word and countries. Helping then with know-how and sharing real life experiences on team building and helping them in their abilities, giving them a chance to make a positive difference in their life and others. Almost all the people would suggest I write a book to share my experiences and examples for others to see. That's why I wrote the book. The ability to " see things as they can be, not as they are" is difficult. Sometimes a small adjustment in a process and strategy works, while other times it may be a complete makeover of the business, including a management change, which is always difficult. There is an expression used in the military "the next man or women up", which means they would need to take charge. This was true when I was in the army as chief of the 3rd section on an 8-inch self-propelled howitzer the biggest gun the United States Army had. "The big guns" I had my men in position to do just that. In my business career I always had someone ready to replace me and, in many cases, it was a person from that country trained to take over. I want to say thank you to my family and friends, and all the people who gave a chance to make a difference.
