Donna is a world traveler, community activist, wine lover and foodie with an occasionally uncontrollable sweet tooth. Forced to retire from a beloved job in the travel industry due to the pandemic, she returned to a long abandoned joy of writing poetry. She followed her first book of poetry with a second and has published novellas under the pen name, Azalyn St. Francis. Now she is writing novels about women who strive to live and love fiercely. Donna is the mother of grown twin sons who are her biggest cheerleaders. She is a graduate of the University of Houston and a proud lifetime member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
