Dr. Eileen Forrestal is a former consultant anaesthetist turned inspirational author, speaker, and guide for those seeking to reclaim their voice, vitality, and vision. After a thirty-two-year career in medicine, Eileen said a powerful “yes” to a new chapter of her life, answering a call to awaken her own spirit and encourage others to do the same. She is the author of The Courage to Shine: Find Your Voice and Discover the Healing Power of Your Words (2021), a courageous memoir that charts her journey from silence to self-expression, and the creator of Embrace the Edge: Life is Bigger When You Say Yes (2025), a bold invitation to live fearlessly and fully. Eileen has spent almost twenty years as co-creator and publisher of the acclaimed Get Up and Go inspirational diary series. This venture grew out of her willingness to invest in a small publishing business in 2006. What began as an unexpected partnership became a life-changing mission to uplift and inspire. Despite later challenges that tested her resolve and integrity, Eileen remains proud of the tens of thousands of lives touched by the messages she helped to share.
