Eliot Mannoia is a digital psychologist, researcher, and consultant whose work sits on the bridge between emotional intelligence and artificial intelligence, and contributes to the growing field of human-centric digital transformation. Based in Vienna, his work draws on the city's tradition from Freud, Frankl, Wittgenstein, and the Digital Humanism initiative at TU Wien, and applies it to the era of AI. He founded BrandKarma, a boutique consultancy whose clients include IKEA, Canon, and Deloitte. He teaches at Danube University Krems and the University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten, and has guest lectured at WU Executive Academy and the London School of Economics. Each year he delivers workshops on emotional intelligence and AI to more than a thousand professionals. Before Vienna, Eliot spent a decade in London, including five years at a global advertising agency where he served as chief digital officer. Earlier in his life, after studying psychology and business, he served as a certified paramedic. He hosts the Mind / Machine podcast. Friction is his first book. Explore the book at emannoia com.
