Elizabeth Ann West has been publishing fiction since 2011 and is the author of more than twenty-five books. Her novels have won reader-conference awards and appeared on top 100 lists at every major retailer. In 2021, with A Test of Fire, she became one of the first novelists to publish openly with AI as a creative tool. Now a recognized leader in disclosed AI use in fiction, her work has been featured in Wired and The New York Times. A lifelong geek, Elizabeth codes her own websites, dabbles in design, and keeps chasing the next technology to master. She founded Future Fiction Academy and Future Fiction Press to help authors write boldly with new tools. A former Navy wife and mother of two, she now lives in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
