Gaurav lives in Washington DC and is a bibliophile, a political junkie, and is especially interested in the intersection of behavioral science, leadership development, and strategy implementation. Having lived on four continents and worked in over 10 countries, Gaurav draws on an extensive global experience in his thinking, writing, and advisory work. He credits his structured approach to complex problems to his educational background in Physics and Aerospace Engineering. Gaurav is a director at Kotter International. In his role within Research and Development, he works closely with Dr. John Kotter, the world-renowned expert on change and leadership, to develop the most successful approaches to large scale change implementation. He is also the co-founder of Ka Partners, a firm established to help organizations create greater employee engagement, use resources more efficiently, and take advantage of more opportunities through better decision-making. Gaurav is the co-author of the book Change: How Organizations Achieve Hard-to-Imagine Results in Uncertain and Volatile Times. He has written extensively on subjects of change, leadership, and business improvement in various outlets including HBR, Sloan Review, Chief Executive, and Forbes; and has been quoted in publications like The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, and Crain's Chicago.
