Hannah Parry practiced as a paediatric nurse and then did a master’s in creative writing at Birkbeck College, University of London. Hannah has written two middle-grade historical thrillers - Winter’s Bite and Fever Quest - and two commercial fiction novels. She developed Breathing for Both of Us, a medical thriller, on the Curtis Brown Creative course in London and it was published in December 2023. The Baby Exchange, a women's fiction satire was published in July 2025. She has had four short stories published. Farrukh and the Matchmaker made the longlist of the BBC Short Story Award 2021. The Chrysalis was awarded a Pushcart Prize nomination in 2021. The third book in the Isabella Rockwell Chronicles, The Ballad of Cornwallis, will be released in December 2026.
