Jonathan Bentley is a retired tech entrepreneur who spent thirty years inside the digital revolution before turning to questions of meaning, faith, and the sacred in our algorithmic world. A lifelong evangelical now exploring theology he once would have considered radical, he writes about how ancient wisdom speaks to our AI-shaped future. In his writing, he explores open and relational theology in conversation with emerging technology. When not writing, he cycles through the forests near Raleigh, North Carolina, seeking countercultural Christian experiences. He lives near Umstead Forest with Judy, his wife of over 40 years. Shadowing St. Francis is his first book.
