A veteran of the United States Army and a law enforcement officer with nearly two decades of service, Joshua draws heavily from real-world encounters with fear, violence, and isolation—elements that echo throughout his writing. Raised in the hills of West Virginia, Joshua grew up surrounded by whispered legends, decaying buildings, and landscapes that seemed to remember what had been buried.
