I live in Cherryfield Maine with my wife and two children. The Cody/McIntire Mystery Series is my personal tribute to all the older styles of writing that I love. My writing rolemodels are Edgar Allan Poe and Robert Louis Stevenson. Many who know me personally assume I write strictly Westerns, due mainly to my love for them. I tend to stand out what with my daily western attire, which is considered normal wear in most parts of the States. In Maine, it tends to stick one out amongst the crowd. My writing interests scatters around many genres and sub-genres. Though, the main key subject seems to trend to that of a supernatural and suspense nature. I consider myself a WRITER, not an AUTHOR. To me as a WRITER, I want the main focus to be on the story, itself. I write for my OWN enjoyment. My style of writing I would describe as observational. I typically visualize my characters and allow them to run wild, while I try as quickly as I can to copy their actions down. I think this is helped by my uncontrollable ADHD. Many times they have left me flabbergasted. I reason if the writer is shocked by a scene so will the reader.
