Kirk Weddell is an award-winning British screenwriter, novelist, and filmmaker with a degree in neuroscience. His work blends deep psychological insight with vivid cinematic storytelling, crafting character-driven narratives that explore identity, consciousness, and humanity’s place in the cosmos. His debut novel Brothers is adapted from his Writers Store Grand Prize–winning screenplay, and his second novel Edge of Oblivion is adapted from his screenplay Alone, which was a Finalist in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Nicholl Fellowship in 2016.
