From an early age, the Munich-born Kirsten Sar picked up a pen – and never put it down. Even as a teenager, she won several writing competitions. After studying translation and interpreting, she pursued a career in journalism: working for newspapers and magazines, and later for Bavarian Television, where she continues to work editorially today. Her first children’s books were published in 2012/2013 in collaboration with illustrator Leila Morgenstern. In 2022, she released “Ferdinand Seeks Happiness” – a book for both children and adults. Also in 2022, inspired by her deep engagement with success, goal-setting, and leadership, she published the motivational story “How Does the Goose Get into the Eagle’s Nest?” – a guide to clarity, focus, and courageous change. To empower children, she has written several affirmation books designed to foster self-confidence, motivation, and inner strength. With “Damn Happy! – 27 Inspirations to Change Your Life”, Kirsten Sar explores the topic of happiness. The book combines practical exercises, psychological strategies, and insights from international studies – an inspiring guide to rediscovering joy, courage, and ease in life. Kirsten Sar lives in Bavaria.
