Linda Parker is a University Professor Emeritus at the University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada. For over 25 years, she and her research group have conducted basic research on the functioning of the endocannabinoid system of the brain. From 2006-2021, she held the position of Canada Research Chair in Behavioral Neuroscience at the University of Guelph. She is the author of over 200 peer-reviewed publications, “Cannabinoids and the Brain” (MIT Press, 2017) and a recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Cannabinoid Research Society (2016).
