Liz Williams is the author of two memoirs on healing from Complex PTSD through faith and clinical treatment. After years of navigating the effects of childhood abuse, Liz was diagnosed with Complex PTSD in adulthood. That diagnosis became a turning point. Through EMDR therapy, psychoanalysis, and the unwavering presence of the Holy Spirit throughout the clinical process, she walked the long road from survival to genuine healing. She wrote her books because she did not want any other woman to walk that road alone. Her debut memoir, Fearfully and Wonderfully Made, follows her journey of confronting a buried abusive past and discovering her identity in Christ. Her second memoir, Trampling the Snake, goes deeper into the clinical and spiritual work, covering Complex PTSD as an attachment disorder, inner child healing, EMDR therapy, and breaking generational patterns through faith. Liz lives in Simpsonville, South Carolina with her husband, two children, and their Mini Bernedoodle, Rex. Follow her journey at fearfullyandwonderfullyliz on Instagram and YouTube.
