Michael Ledwidge sold his first novel, The Narrowback, at the age of 26.  His second critically acclaimed novel, Bad Connection, was optioned by George Clooney.  He has written over a dozen bestsellers with the world's best selling author, James Patterson. The Michael Bennett series that he co-created is the highest selling NYC detective series of all time. Their novel, Zoo, became a three-season CBS television series. He recently resumed his solo career with the Michael Gannon series as well as stand-alone thrillers.  Born and raised in New York City, before becoming a full-time novelist, Ledwidge worked as a deli man, a Park Avenue doorman, and Manhattan telephone cable splicer. He currently lives in Connecticut. Inspired by his insights into storytelling from his thirty-year career as a novelist, Ledwidge has expanded his body of work to include a nonfiction exploration of how stories are inextricably connected to our human nature and how we can use this new understanding of stories to find our way to happily ever after.
