Peter Grandl, born in 1963, began his career as a director for film and television. He later moved into the advertising industry, where he worked as a Creative Director responsible for numerous high-profile campaigns until 2022. His debut novel, Turmschatten, became a surprise success in 2020. In 2024, the socially critical thriller was adapted by Paramount as a streaming series. His subsequent thrillers, Turmgold, Höllenfeuer, and above all RESET, also received widespread media attention. In spring 2027, his fifth novel, set in the world of the Vatican, will be published by dtv.
