Dr. Eric Infanti is a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, a contemplative practitioner, teacher, and systems designer whose work bridges deep meditative practice with psychological rigor, ethical responsibility, and human-centered design. He has over 2,000 hours of formal training in yoga, meditation, and breathwork, and has taught contemplative practices for more than three decades. His training includes extended study in India as well as long-term immersion in Buddhist psychology, yogic science, and somatic awareness traditions. He is known for bringing clarity and restraint to domains often dominated by mysticism, bypassing, or unexamined authority. Dr. Infanti holds a Ph.D. in Human Factors, with research focused on peak flow states, phenomenal psychology, and the conditions under which altered states support—or undermine—human func-tioning. He also holds a Master’s degree in Buddhist Psychology, a second Master of Science in Ayurvedic Medicine, and a third Master of Science in User-Centered Design, grounding his work in both contemplative and empirical disciplines. He is the author of more than twenty books exploring the intersection of meditation, psychology, ethics, design, and lived human experience. His writing is recognized for confronting the quiet failures of spiritual practice—where insight outpaces integration, and depth becomes distortion—while offering clear, humane frameworks for responsible teaching and practice. In parallel with his contemplative work, Dr. Infanti is a UX Designer and Information Architect, specializing in complex systems, trauma-aware design, and ethical human–technology interaction. He is the founding designer of ON POINT, a veteran-centered digital platform designed to support nervous-system regulation, cognitive clarity, and real-world resilience without dependency or spiritual bypassing. He is also the founder of Mindful UX™, Veteran UX™, and the MISSION™ and VALOR™ UX frameworks, which apply contemplative principles, behavioral science, and ethical design standards to high-stakes environments, including veteran-adjacent systems and public service platforms. Dr. Infanti’s work is united by a single principle: Depth without integration is not wisdom—and authority without accountability is harm. Dr. Infanti’s journey began with a clear vision and a desire to create a life aligned with his family’s dreams. Despite many challenges and uncertainties, he persevered, taking intentional steps toward self-reflection, self-education, and self-discovery. Empowered by this wisdom, he has successfully navigated the complexities of the human condition to support others. As a result, Eric stands today as a beacon of empowerment, changing lives through his passion. Through his work, he extends an invitation to beautiful souls like you, inspiring them to embark on their unique journey of transformation and fulfillment.
