S.K. Wyatt was raised in rural northwestern Wisconsin, where she explored the forests and fields around her home daily. It was during these many adventures that she was inspired to dream up fantastical realms and characters. Wyatt further awakened her love of writing through short stories, poems, and song lyrics—often while daydreaming in high school and college—before immersing herself in her first fantasy project. When she’s not wrangling her five boys, gaming with her husband, or playing with her Labrador retriever, Wyatt is writing and dreaming up new storylines within the Kel-Rav’ah realms. Blood and Rune is the first of the Shards of Zaralys, with a plan for at least two more novels in the series and several others planned or in work within the Kels’ universe.
