Sara Ennis has been telling stories since she was four years old, leaving handwritten tales outside her mother's bedroom door to coax her out of depression. Her grandfather bought her first typewriter at six. She wrote fake book reports in second grade and a class play in fourth. Writing, for Sara, has always been survival. She writes psychological thrillers set in the Komorebi world, including the four-book Duality series and five standalone novels that share the same universe. She also writes the Bliss cozy mystery series under the pen name Sara Isabelle. Her latest thriller, That Carver Girl, releases June 18th. Sara grew up in Los Angeles, ran away on purpose, and landed in Des Moines, Iowa. She lives there with a blind Australian Shepherd named Charlie and Charlie's cat, Eartha Kitta. She founded an animal welfare nonprofit in 2009 and spent eight years running a social impact pet food brand, including a memorable stint living in the warehouse, which is only fun if you're a cool tech bro. Her readers call themselves Ennis Menaces. She couldn't be more proud.
