this is a good first book. the story is interesting even though it starts slow. I love the slow burn romance in this book

It’s a lot of world building but I really enjoyed this book. It really gets going in the second half and ends at a delicious part of the story which has made me download the second and I will start it straight after pressing submit on this review

I really liked the concept of this story, even though it took me a moment or two to understand. Loved the characters and world- can’t wait to read on!
Narrator was good with voices for the different characters, but unfortunately I found it difficult to differentiate between when the main character was talking and thinking 🙈

I really struggled with the first quarter of the book. So much was unclear and unexplained. I’m glad I stuck with it. I wish it was as spicy as Tucker’s other books but still enjoyable and I’m invested in what happens next.
