I loved this second audiobook in the Black's Bandits series. The story was captivating and had me on the edge of my seat. I adored Brett and Tallie as a couple, they had fabulous chemistry and I really enjoyed the journey they went on for their HEA .
This is such an exciting spin off from the amazing HOT series, and with every story a little more incite into who sexy, mysterious Ian Black really is and what drives him.

This is the first book in the Black's Bandits series, a Military romance. Tallie and Brett's story is fast-paced, action packed, suspenseful, and entertaining, filled with mystery, and twists and turns. Tallie is beautiful and strong. Brett, a mercenary, is handsome and protective. They are perfect together. Their chemistry is off the charts. The storyline is breathtakingly captivating. Impossible to put it down. Maxine Mitchell is already one of my favorite narrators. Dan Bittner is a new narrator to me. He has a great voice, pleasant to listen to. They did an excellent job with the narration. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listening to Black Out, the next book in the series.

“Black Tie” is the second book in the Black’s Bandits series, and even though this book is a bit more quiet than the first one, it’s no less captivating. The author has a wonderful writing style, so the story once again had me hooked from start to finish.
No wonder, because in addition to her wonderful writing style, I really like both her main and supporting characters.
Brett Wheeler was sent undercover into a human trafficking ring, originally to gather information. But when he sees that Tallie Grant, who was kidnapped in France, is being auctioned off, he bids on her, thinking she’s a minor. She wasn’t, but things got exciting as the two try to make their way back from Europe to the United States. Much to my delight, the two also make a brief stop in Bavaria, where I live.
But even back home, danger still lurks. Can Brett protect Tallie? Read it for yourself!
Brett is a likable character with a troubled childhood and a heart of gold—you just have to love him. And I liked Tallie a lot right from the start, too.
The book offers everything a reader’s heart desires: romance, humor, action, suspense, and likable, relatable characters. In short, it absolutely leaves you wanting more—more of the Black’s Bandits! And anyone who’s read the first book will be delighted to encounter characters from the first volume here.

I was already familiar with Maxine Mitchel; she’s a fantastic narrator. Dan Bittner, on the other hand, was a new narrator for me, and one I definitely need to remember. He has a great voice and uses it skillfully, making this audiobook a pleasure to listen to!

The narration is very entertaining and full of emotions and storyline. This was a book that kept me involved from start to finish.

I loved that there was the romance and then the overall storyline. The overall storyline was intriguing the suspense was intense. This is a series not to be missed.

Another amazing H O T listen. Brett is a good baddie with skills. Tallie is soft and innocent. Both are sizzling together. The story was fast paced and full of suspense culminating in a great twist towards the end. Well done!!
Maxine Mitchell and Dan Bittner were unbelievably good as Tallie and Brett bringing their personalities and character to life.
