These are the first three books in the Bound and Betrothed series. Tamed by the Viking, Hedda and Eldberg's story, Craved by the Viking, Gunnar and Frida's story, and Surrendered to the Viking, Elin and Rangvald's story.
The women live on an island with no men. You will find out what happened to them as you read the books. Eldberg, Gunnar and Rangvald are 3 of 6 handsome, well-built Vikings who are shipwrecked on the island. They are discovered by the women who decide that once they help the men recover, they will then use them to procreate. They need to make a new generation; they plan to share the men among all of the women. Once one woman is with child, he will be passed on to the next woman until they are all pregnant, and hopefully, they will have some boy babies.
Each book is cleverly written so that the steamy moments aren't repetitive. The first book's steamy moments are bondage-based. The second's are far more gentle, but no less steamy, with Frida being a virgin. The third's has master and sub steamy moments. Each couple is faced with the knowledge that at some point, the men will want to repair their ship and head back to their home. Will the men decide to stay, or will the women leave with them? Also, will the first three women want to share their Viking with the other women when the time comes?
Elin and Rangvald's story doesn't come to a conclusion in their book. I very much look forward to reading or listening to the next 3 books so I can find out what happens to them, and also find out who the other three men couple with and if they can all have a happy ending or not.
There are plenty of steamy moments in these books, but they happen within an excellent storyline. I was captivated from the start, and I enjoy getting to know the characters and want them all to have a happy ending.
