About this listen

An exciting Western sequel from Malcolm Hotzman! This is action, adventure and Old West justice from one of the most acclaimed Western authors of today!

Dalton Brisco once again finds himself involved in a situation that he wanted no part of. An outlaw band has taken a man’s wife and two children hostage and is holding them in a hideout known as Robber’s Roost. Convinced the outlaws will take the ransom money and not return the hostages and unable to find anyone else to take charge, Brisco decides to come up with a rescue plan. With guns blazing, Brisco and some unlikely recruits go into Robber’s Roost to confront the cutthroat gang.

An excellent addition to an already outstanding series of short Western adventures, this third book does not disappoint. This time, Dalton Brisco is reluctantly drawn into helping a quirky land agent whose family has been kidnapped. The story delivers fast paced action, a good plot, and all the excitement of a well written western. Henry Marshall’s superb narration once again brings the characters and setting vividly to life. A thoroughly enjoyable listen from start to finish.
I was kindly given a copy of the book by the narrator and leave this honest review.
