A very well written story of power, intrigue and ruthless blood sport. strong character depth and description. Feist and Wurtz bring the world to you in great detail. Servant and Mistress are a must listen after this!!

Thrilling political narrative on par with the game of thrones. Superbly written as I have come to expect from Raymond E. Feist, and the narration is fantastic. You can really get invested in the characters and their struggles pull at your heartstrings. Previous knowledge of the Tsurani and their honour system brought tears to my eyes an left a lump in my throat in the confrontation with the grey warriors. Will definitely read multiple times.

Loved the story, but changes in character often resulted in volume discrepancies which made listening a challenge. Otherwise five stars.

This audio book is excellent, loved it and highly recommended. Tania Rodrigues narrates a great story. I loved the book it's self and had to get this version too
