This was a great listen! The worldbuilding is rich and full of detail, and the story pulled me in quickly. Morius is a strong main character, and I especially liked the bond he has with his steed, Tasla, those moments gave the darker parts of the story some warmth. There’s plenty of action, mystery, and a good dark fantasy atmosphere. The narration fit the story well. If you enjoy epic fantasy with battles and intrigue, this is definitely worth picking up.

This is my first time listening to not only this author but this style of audio book. It's mainly your standard audio book but a sprinkling of audio drama is in there with occasional sound effects or music at dramatic points.
The story is about about a mercenary who lives to a code of honour in a land where magic is all but a myth and plenty horrific monsters. I really enjoyed the story and the narration was great.
