Zecia is burning.

If you have been listening to the book back to back, it might make sense, but I eventually caught up to the previous book and returned to this one after a while. When I did come back, I could not jump right back in the same manner I could with other books. This book felt like it had too many things going on with too many characters in the story, lacking sufficient value.

I would still recommend it to people who have been listening to it, but I don't think I personally will continue, especially considering I couldn't even finish this book due to having no idea who anyone else besides the MC was, and I don't even know where he is.

I have been waiting for this book to come out in Audible as the narrator is one of my favourite on the platform. the book was good - its like a good staple to go back to - the author writes well and gets a lot of things right. as is my custom I read book 14 again before I read book 15 so that should tell you that all the books are well written as I have read each book twice.
I'm giving a 4 star on the story because its becoming harder to keep remembering who all the characters are and it would help to have a section of the beginning of the book that explains who all the people are again - I spent a good 10 min trying to figure out when we met a certain character only to realise they were new.

I will read this book again when book 16 comes out - we could use a tournament arc but that might only happen in book 17/18.

Great series but felt like a lot of filler in this one, lots of descriptive language but not much story progression.

overall worth it but was a struggle to get through this edition.

bit to much deep dive into rpg mechanics / skills name etc. feels like listeningto a podcast about chemcial composition of aples aaaand I am not chemist. whole series is great but this book lost me. the rules of the univers either do not exist or are so convoluted that I no longer follow. i am excited about the story, just give me more story, characters and adventures on the book, and NO our hero going through 8 mins! of complicated,.over the top, convoluted, mechanicaly difficult to follow sequence of special skills influences, treasures, names I am not sure are people, items, skils or treasures does not count as action! waiting for next book story is great
