Early Inspector Alleyn story . very entertaining with a simple story that has enough twists and turns to keep you engaged. The narrator had a fantastic range of voices . Highly recommended.

The consistency of the whodunits and beauty of Marsh's language never fails to impress. Roderick Alleyn is one of the truly great detectives of crime fiction, especially with his trusted sidekick, Inspector Fox at his side. The inclusion of the intrepid young reporter Nigel Bathgate adds to the wonderfully comedic aspects of Ngaio Marsh's novels. Marsh's works are worthy of much broader readership. While "of their time", great penmanship and literary flair has no period and never bores. Enter a Murderer is a classic genre whodunit, read wonderfully by James Saxon as always.
