Omfg this narrator (Thor Tom) is absolutely awful. The accent he decided to do for one of the two MCs is risible. Made it almost impossible to listen to. And this is not the first book he ruins…how just HOW does he still get narration jobs?

The story is okay (lacking depth) but an easy read. The narrator put me off - the accents used for some characters left me wanting to end the audiobook there and then.

I love the book, but the accent choice made for Kip is terrible. I'm not sure if he was trying to get a Brooklyn accent, but it just sounded awful.

Story is amazing. However what kind of accent it this for Kip? Also why to bother trying so hard for an accent if you won’t keep doing it. Weird chose for sure.

I really do hope they redo the narration for this book. Scott’s voice is great, but Kip’s is so distracting. What is that accent supposed to be? I’d buy this book again to re-listen with new narration.
