In this book by Aeon History, listeners are taken on a journey through the fascinating epochs of ancient Greek civilization.

Chapter two, focusing on the Mycenaean Age, transported me back to my childhood days spent exploring ancient ruins and archaeological sites with my family. As I listened to the tales of Mycenae's mighty warriors and the splendor of their civilization,

I couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder and nostalgia. Even now, as an adult, I find myself drawn to the mysteries of ancient Greece, eager to uncover the secrets of its past and delve deeper into its rich cultural heritage.

Bartley's narration infuses the book with a sense of grandeur and intrigue.

I love when a historical book can keep my attention. With this one, I felt as though I was right there in the action. Greek mythology is sometimes presented in a hum drum fashion and loses me right away. This presentation was fantastic. I enjoyed the narrators voice and am walking away with knowledge of how beautiful Greece influenced democracy, science, and theatre!

Captivating listen!
