This was a fantastic sequel to HOEAB and there is so much more to learn about Midgard in this book. cannot recommend enough!!

this book much like it's predecessor is brilliant the moment where I auditable gasped were far to many to count! cannot wait to listen to the 3rd instalment! truly wonderful sarah j mass is a excellent writer.

the raunchy scenes for sure

The characters Bryce and Hunt are practically the same, but watered down versions of Aelin and Rowan in Throne of Glass series. Even linguistically the book is virtually the same, along with the general plot.. as in later ToG books. Not to say I didn't like the book, but it was too similar without the strong emotion provoking characters, or powerful interesting story as the previous two series of books by Sarah J Maas. I found large parts of the book quite annoying and kept pondering about not finishing it.. But i kept it going in the background until the end.

I'm a huge fan of SJM and and all the twists she likes to weave into her stories. I have to admit this one is a lot to read but worth it, just to build up for that ending. Left me so devistated that I will have to wait for the 3rd. Think I just have to re-read the others 😜
