I found this was an interesting and easy to follow fantasy!
lots of twists and turns kept me guessing throughout the book!
Prince Niall has to travel cross the "World's Divide" with his ship and his crew to search for help for his home, but he finds much more!
I read this book along with the Audio book!
The performance helped keep track of the different characters voices!
It usually puts me off when they do the opposite sex but he does a great job doing all the characters speech.... and the DRAGONS!!
I look forward to reading more of the series and seeing where the characters grow!

Really enjoyed this epic fantasy tale of heirs, dragons and flame deities. Interesting world building and great characters. Looking forward to the follow up later this year.

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this. The world-building is easy to follow, the characters have real depth, and Nyall is a refreshing MMC who isn’t the typical arrogant prince. Peanut absolutely stole my heart, though the audiobook voice for him didn’t quite match how I imagined. The story starts a little slow but builds beautifully, with action, twists, and just a touch of romance (including LGBTQ themes). At nearly 600 pages, it’s a chunky, well-written fantasy that deserves more attention
