About this listen

What's the connection between a dig in Alexandria for Alexander the Great's tomb and a wanted Nazi war criminal? Nina and Eddie are about to find out as they go on a search across the globe, from Egypt to Argentina and Italy to Iran, to find the truth.

They have located the most exciting archaeological treasures the world has ever known - they have found Atlantis and walked in the Garden of Eden, they have wielded Excalibur and seen the vast sums of gold in El Dorado. Could they now be about to find the greatest prize of all - the secret to eternal life?

Full of his trademark action, thrills and humour, this is Andy McDermott's most exciting novel to date and marks the 10th novel featuring his brilliant series leads, Nina Wilde and Eddie Chase.

Great story loads of twits and turns but the narrator was definitely not as good as others
however the story was still 10/10

amazing

I have thoroughly enjoyed the series and wasn’t disappointed with this adventure, (which was slightly predictable). The only thing that I had some issues was with the change of narrator; who in his own rights was good but didn’t quite capture the northern accent of Eddy (which I found added a mildly comedic element).
Will still be getting the next audiobook in the series.

Another adventure

Once again another great story from the author the usual action packed craziness. My only issue with this book is Eddie has become an American he's lost his gruff yorkshireness which is not on the author sorry it is the narrator no complaints otherwise.

Another great book from Andy Mcdermott

It was as usual hard to stop listening and although you know what may happen next there are always shock surprises.

suspense all the way.

As the first of my Audible books I knew this was a safe choice after reading the previous ones in paperback. It lived up to my expectations and well worth the listen. Good narrator too and got used to the accents being a little off - forgot about it by halfway through. Playback was fine for me so either it's been fixed or it was other reviewers devices not this book.

Action, adventure, lost treasure; a great read
