Summary
Climbing Kilimanjaro? No thank you.
Climbing it with Miller West? Absolutely f***ing not.
A full week without showers, a real bed, or Internet was bad enough. Spending it with my family’s sworn enemy—the unbearably smug, indecently handsome Miller West—is a bridge too far.
I’m determined to remain enemies, even if sparring with him is my favorite thing in the world. Even if he’s hell-bent on protecting me, whether I need it or not, and surprisingly kind, no matter how awful I am to him.
But eight days is a long time to hate someone you’re sleeping next to.
Especially when you suspect you never hated him at all.
And what happens on Kilimanjaro stays on Kilimanjaro...right?

I loved listening to this audiobook I couldn't get enough and was compelled from the very start.
This is an Enemies to lovers story with a bit of the forbidden as well, because the male love interest is Kit's sisters EX Boyfriend !!!!!!!
Kit Fisher comes from money and is a bit of a spoiled princess she works for her father who has sent her on an assignment.
The assignment is to climb Kilamanjaro but on the same trip is Miller West, her sister Maren's ex boyfiend. There was a time when Miller spent alot of time with Kit's family until he dumped Maren and disappeared from society.
Back then Kit and Miller never got along together always bickering and acting like they hate eachother.
It is no different now....as soon as they see eachother its a war of words and snarky comments.
Kit is used to a life of luxury and as you can imagine is furious to be on this trip, her father must be crazy sending her.
But Kit is living a lie in reality she is marrying a man she doesn't really love, the relationship is one sided. He is a workaholic and doesn't really listen or pay attention to her.She is also still not over Rob her ex boyfriend that relationship ended tragically.
This is a slow burn romance and it is so good and enemies to lovers perfection..Miller is a sweetheart I adored him.He is so protective and supportive he does small gestures for Kit..which just shows how much he really cares,he has her back through-out the trip.
The sexual tension and chemistry between them is clear, but Kit will not cross that line..she will not hurt her sister as Maren is still obsessed with Miller and what they had 10 years ago.
Kit is so selfless and sacrifices her happiness for other people all the time, and I loved the way the trip changes her,and changes her opinion of Miller.
Because Miller has a secret about his feelings for Kit and how long he has actually been in love with her.
When they are together WOW they are mindblowing and explosive with their intamacy.
The trip also frees Kit and she sees her life in a whole different light and discovers she doesn't really like her life and actually wants different things.
I did become emotional as well listening to this book because you know how much they want to be together..but can't because of Kit sacrificing herself again.
The narration to this book is sensational !! Rose Dioro and Grayson Owens make this fabulous story AMAZING with their voices.
Performing all the characters in the book between them they really enhance the story with their passion and emotion.I loved listening to them, they were wonderful.
I was so captivated with this book and loved every minute of listening to it.

He gave life to Miller West and it was epic! 𝑅𝑜𝑠𝑒 & 𝐺𝑟𝑎𝑦𝑠𝑜𝑛 paired up and delivered an absolutely fun performance with these character! The chemistry absolutely sparked between them!
Overall Vibes:
𝙴𝚕𝚒𝚣𝚊𝚋𝚎𝚝𝚑 𝙾'𝚁𝚘𝚊𝚛𝚔 once again delivered! Following Kit and Miller up Kilimanjaro was a delight! They had me smiling with their banter, they had me wishing I could be climbing right along with them! I loved the side characters! Gerald 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 annoyed me (in the best way!), but Miller's protectiveness over Kit, made me glad Gerald was a part of the story! Take me to Kilimanjaro!

The yearning from Miller West, my god I’m unwell!! I don’t know what it is, but when a man is obsessed as how Miller was, and he’s so pathetically down bad; it just scratches something in my brain.
This had everything I loved, billionaire, forced proximity boy OBSESSED, mutual pining, sibling’s ex, only one tent, and a stop the wedding moment, honestly, go read it.
I’m already wishing that I could read this again for the first time!
I live for chaotic ex entanglements. Anything involving someone’s ex, be it sister, best friend, their nan (I’m joking) but especially, an ex’s dad, I will inhale, just like I did with this.
It was SO angsty, and rather chaotic, as you’d expect from an ex being involved. The forced proximity, was so unbelievably good. As if it wasn’t bad enough that Kit was stuck hiking with her sister’s ex, Miller, who she cannot stand, she was now having to share a tent with him, I loved it.
The banter between them was so good, too, ugh, and I just miss them already, it’s not fair! 😭😭
Honestly, there were moments where I did predict and suspect certain parts going how they did; like Miller switching routes last minute, Kit’s dad for ensuring that they ended up in Tanzania. That Miller left all those years ago because he realised he had feelings for Kit, and honestly I loved it. It made me so giddy.
I really liked the emotional depth that this also had, Kit is multilayered, struggling under the weight of carrying her mother and sister’s responsibilities and always having to be their pillar of support. She’s also in a job that she hates, and struggling to overcome the grief of her ex-boyfriend, who tragically died. Miller sees right through her facade, and literally just wants to be that pillar of support for Kit. In return, over the course of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, Kit realises that she doesn’t actually hate Miller and that, she might have even been wrong about her misguided feelings. Kit’s journey was so intriguing, and I couldn’t help but root for her every step of the way. I just wanted her to find a way to move forward without the weight of guilt or the fear of being happy. And I also really wanted for her to get with Miller, and I was so glad when they did!!
Honestly, I’m not sure how I’m going to recover from this.
