About this listen

A Top 50 Amazon Best Seller

He walked away once, and it nearly destroyed her. Now he wants a second chance…

Priest

There’s nothing more important than family.

It’s what I live for, what I’ve always lived for.

So, when I’m forced to step back from the one girl I’m dying to claim as my own, it wrecks me.

But when family asks you to keep a secret, you do it.

No questions asked.

I only hope that when the truth comes to light, the woman I can’t get out of my head gives me another chance. A chance to show her I could be her knight in beat-up leather if only she’d let me.

Jenny

Tragedy likes to strike in threes and this year’s already been a nightmare.

Two down… one to go.

So, when the brutally hot biker who stomped all over my heart crosses my path again, I’ve got no interest in hearing him out.

Except, he doesn’t give up so easily…

And he’s more than willing to play dirty to get what he wants.

When he dangles the thing I want most in front of me and promises he’s changed, I have to decide if I’m willing to gamble my heart on his second chance or walk away for good…

This is the second book in the series, and I am jonesing for more! I absolutely love it. Priest is first introduced in Hush, the opening book of the series, and there’s definitely some carryover, so I recommend reading/listening in order for the full experience. This is technically a spin-off series, and while I haven’t yet listened to the original, I plan to now that I’ve discovered it. Some characters overlap, which makes me even more excited to dive into the other books. The spicy scenes? Fantastic. But what makes this series stand out is the plot. It's well-written, well-paced, and genuinely entertaining. You can tell the writing team has insight into military culture, from the attitude and camaraderie to the emotional baggage that comes with service. I especially love how connected the characters are. Sure, they bicker and squabble, but at the end of the day, they’d go to war for each other, no questions asked. Johnson and Miller are fantastic narrators. They bring the grit, heart, and heat of the story to life perfectly. Overall: spicy, emotional, and addicting. This series is one I’ll be following closely.

I love this series!!

Priest is the second book in The Viking's Rampage MC: Tucson Chapter. This is Priest's book. It can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading in order. Jenny goes to a wedding in Texas and sees Priest. They mingle and have a steamy night together. Jenny's work takes her to Tucson. Now they get a second chance meeting. This meeting has Priest's emotions all twisted up. He doesn't want this second chance meeting go to waste. Jenny has an emotional past. They both need to try and give love a second chance.

Phillipa Miller and Michael Norman Johnson did an amazing job narrating this book.

Be still my heart. This story is packed with so much. There is a second chance at love, a chance to give a little girl a family, the chance to help through grief and the family of the not only the Tucson Chapter of the Vikings, but members of the Austin Vikings MC that I had gotten to know and love. Jenny has been attracted to Priest for a long time, but he hurt her just as things seemed like they were developing. Pushing her away was too much. Now he's back, and she finds out his secrets. The question is will she understand why he kept them? And now with the possibility of him adopting Caitlyn, and keeping her safe from the danger she is in Jenny gets a good look at what life will be like. I am all in with this story. From the very start, I could feel the love Priest had for Jenny, even though he would keep her at arms length. I loved that she dove in head first and in true Cathleen Cole and Frank Jenson fashion, the suspense thread was strong and exciting. I loved the twists, the emotional decisions, the kids, it's just a fantastic listen.

Phillipa Miller and Michael Norman Johnson bring this gem alive with a fabulous narration. Each scene has just the right amount of feeling, and their voices for each character is spot on. I enjoyed these two together and look forward to more.

Priest & Jenny!
