About this listen

This slayer’s about to save the world.

I’m a witch, shifter, self-proclaimed vampire slayer, and more than a little ticked off. The Soulless took my sister, and I’m determined to find where the elite group of vampires is hiding.

But before I can go after her, I get a warning from a high witch. There’s a vamp after a dark and dangerous artifact, one that would allow him to control magic and sell it to the highest bidder. I must pursue him if I hope to survive my sister’s rescue.

I have no idea what I’ve gotten myself into. All I know is that my friends and I have to get to the artifact first…even if it means facing our worst nightmares to stop him.

New narration updated March, 2023.

Whereas book one was more about finding loved ones that were taken, this one was more about being the first to find a very powerful artifact that’s been sought after the likes of people you definitely don’t want to have such a thing.
Therefore it felt like the story started a sidequest after that bombshell that ended book 1 because the main story that entire book, finding those 2 people, was kinda split in half. Half being resolved with an introduction of another plot/storyline and because of that the other half was put on hold. By the characters in the book, that is, wasn’t like a plothole, just the characters prioritizing their order of actions.
Which is done in a way I approve of cliffhangers. I do not appreciate big cliffhangers, I prefer a more gentle invitation to read a sequel. The storyline partly being resolved and a new introduction is my preferred method, I have just realized. Last tidbit is more aimed at the authors among those reading this review for any new stories developing in minds all over the world that I/we might discover in the future but still might be helpful for some readers.

This one added more witchy stuff (artifact related)
