This book is meant to be a quick listen book but I found it difficult to get into, because I didn’t like the narration. With the narration there were a few character mix ups and very distracting background noises. The story wasn’t my cup of tea as I didn’t think there was much romance between the two characters.

Not my cup of tea

I couldn’t listen to this in it’s entirety between the over the top country accent that sounded absolutely fake and the narrators nasally (maybe sick) voice I couldn’t go more than halfway before I gave up.

Sleeping on Couches

I thought "Sleeping On Couches," depict a good story for a woman who was looking to get back out on her own, especially after really volatile relationship.

I think Nicole was able to see the situation and express it very clearly for one to understand and move on from and even learn from. For her to be able to keep moving forward towards her new life.

The narration by Caroline Downs I thought was actually brilliant. She was able to capture all the different characters and give them their own distinguishing voices, each one came through clearly. I do recommend this book to others to listen to.

This is a good survivor book. Not a subject you find a lot of but unfortunately it happens. It’s good to see a fighter get her HEA. Likeable characters. Good narration.

Gritty storyline
