Summary

Their story is a great start for a new series. And I love the little jumps over to Magnolia Falls.

I enjoyed every minute and of course, the narrators are top notch.

𝙻𝚊𝚞𝚛𝚊 𝙿𝚊𝚟𝚕𝚘𝚟, you have done it again! You have taken amazingly chiseled characters, added banter, chemistry and captivating plot lines and given us a great start to a new series! I couldn't get enough of Easton & Henley!

We met Easton in 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗮 𝗙𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, so I was super excited we got to get his story! And, it was an adventure for sure! Loved the push and pull between him and Henley, who is the boss's daughter and just started working for his firm. The chemistry between them is incredibly undeniable and when things heat up, they heat up!

𝐶𝑜𝑛𝑛𝑜𝑟 𝐶𝑟𝑎𝑖𝑠 lent his voice to Easton and nailed it! From Easton's tragic past to his banter with Henley, 𝐶𝑜𝑛𝑛𝑜𝑟 did phenomenally! 𝐴𝑛𝑑𝑖 𝐴𝑟𝑛𝑑𝑡 is one of my favs for female narrators and she did amazingly with Henley. The wit, the sass, the way Henley was with Easton was beautifully brought to life through 𝐴𝑛𝑑𝑖'𝑠 voice. Perfect pairing!

𝙻𝚊𝚞𝚛𝚊 𝙿𝚊𝚟𝚕𝚘𝚟 has given us a small town, enemies to lovers story that will instantly pull you in. Her writing style is captivating, her characters steal your heart (pun intended!), and you get so many emotions with her stories! I can't wait for the next 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗥𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 installment!

This is now my third series I've listened to of Laura's, and I keep coming back for more because the stories are always a good time! I loved Henley and Easton. When I found out it was Easton mentoring the boss's daughter, I knew it was going to be great! The chemistry and banter between them were amazing, and Connor Crais and Andi Arndt captured this perfectly. I loved Easton's grump to Henley's sunshine. The way he challenges her and she fights right back. It's just brilliant. Both of them have pasts they need to work through, and the way they do it together and communicate was so refreshing. Another bonus is getting to meet the Chadwick family, who were so fun and seeing the other men who will be getting their own stories. I can't wait!

Gahhhh this audiobook was incredible! Duet narration is just makes it SO much better!! Plus these narrators were absolutely perfect for the characters!

I adored this book! I loved the banter, tension and mild hostility (at the beginning) between Henley and Easton! The forced proximity of him being her mentor at work was amazing! Then the crazy chemistry between them having them collide 😮‍💨 I love how it all happened!

There is emotion and fun and it was just such a great read that had me hooked from beginning to end! All the characters were so great and I’m extremely excited for the rest of the series! Especially the next book!

I really enjoyed Easton as a side character in Beating Heart so getting a full story for him is great. I love the throwbacks and cameos from LP's previous series. Henley and Easton definitely have a rocky start, but she quickly puts him in his place, proving his first assumptions about her false. There are some really great relationship building moments in this story and I love how fiercely proud of Henley he is.

I loved the duet narration in this. Andi and Connor both have very soothing voices and their performances are very complimentary. Easy transitions in their conversations making the audio feel very natural. Beautiful job :-)
