This was such a cute romance. brother’s best friend is one of my favorites when it’s done well and this one definitely qualifies. I could feel that Rhett and Evie cared for each already but the progression to a romantic relationship was well written and felt natural. The dyslexia representation was handled with care and was very appreciated. And who doesn’t love a romance that features a dog so prominently.

The audio aspect was great. Alexander Neal performed this accent so well. Lena Lee is new to me and I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful tone to her voice. I’ll be on the lookout for these two in the future!

Royally Deceived is book two in the Love Over Murder series. We got to get a slight glimpse of soon to be King Xander, at the end of book one. Xander needs to marry to become King. Ariana has just lost her job and fleas to London to fill her dream as a writer. Xander is desperate and finds a matchmaking company to help his search for a bride. The only problem now is the first woman to catch his eye wants nothing to do with him.

Stephanie Nemeth-Parker and John Hartley did an amazing job narrating this book.

This was a well written, friends to lovers, forbidden, brother's best friend/teammate, forced proximity, sports romance. I found this story sweet, fun, refreshing, with amazing characters that was hard to put down.

Lena Lee and Alexander Neal are new to me narrators and I really enjoyed their narration. I loved how Alexander Neal was able to capture the sweet and spicy sides of Rhett's personality and how Lena Lee was able to portray Evie's naive nature and awkward moments.

This was a truly sweet book. It ticked all the right boxes, from the naughty side of sneaking around behind the FMC’s brother’s back to the adorableness of the puppy, and to the way Rhett treated Evie both in and out of the bedroom.

The acting was superb! This was a dual style narration, and both actors did a great job bringing in all the right emotions and energy to every scene. Loved every bit of it!

This was such a sweet & swoony romance.
It had me feeling all the warm fuzzies.
I loved Rhett & Evie’s relationship, I am a sucker for brother’s best friend and he is such a gentleman and cinnamon roll.
I love that they both fell hard and were both a little scared to tell the other one just how hard they fell.
I absolutely adore the love and support that Rhett continuously gives to Evie!
Their chemistry and passion and friendship was amazing.
