About this listen

This bundle includes books one, two, and three in the Beechwood Harbor Magic Mysteries series.

Murder’s a Witch: Exiled potion witch Holly Boldt is trying to lay low in a small beach town after a misunderstanding with magical law enforcement. When her coffee shop boss turns up dead and a friend becomes the prime suspect, Holly must risk exposing her magical past to solve the murder. With supernatural roommates, a ghost landlady, and dwindling funds, Holly’s new life is anything but simple. But she didn’t get this far by playing it safe. Come hex or high water, Holly will uncover the truth—even if it means permanent banishment from the magical world.

Twice the Witch: Just as Holly settles into her exile, supernatural celebrity Evangeline arrives at Beechwood Manor and sets her sights on Holly’s boyfriend. When an amnesiac ghost appears seeking help with a cold case murder, Holly has to track down a killer and save her new relationship... all without landing herself in a witch’s duel.

Witch Slapped: Holly’s Yule Feast plans go awry when her boyfriend’s judgmental shifter parents arrive for the celebration. When a supernatural murder disrupts the festivities and sends her human friends hurtling into a nest of angry vampires, Holly needs more than seasonal cheer to save the day. Magic might be forbidden, but she’s going to need a Christmas miracle—or at least a very powerful spell—to make it through this holiday intact. Bah humbug.

Good for when you need something for your mind to focus on for a bit, but not too taxing that you have to keep replaying it.

it's perfect! a witchy balance of supernatural magical mystery and love, I like the fact that it's not explicit like many other supernatural books, which means I'll be able to allow my teen granddaughter to listen along too!
perfect!

Need more like these!

Not quite as well written as Charlaine Harris’ supernatural world. Some funny bits, undead beauty pageants?

This is the first book by this author that I have read or heard but it won't be my last, in fact before I had finished the first book I was adding the next set of books to my wish list. This was a great way to spend an audible credit, as you get three books for the price of one. Each story is a different story but continues on from the last. I loved the characters, especially the way Holly has to navigate her way through the human and supernatural world, with human friends and co workers and living with a dog shifter, a ghost and even a diva vampire. It makes for an entertaining listen.
Murder's a witch book one.
This is the first book and introduces you to the characters and the reason why Holly is staying in beechwood harbor and not in the magical community where she is free to use her magic. I enjoyed this book and was straight on to the next book. The mystery was good and I liked the way magic was used to solve the case.
When Holly's boss is killed in the alley behind the coffee shop and the one and only friend looks like the prime suspect, Holly has no choice but to use her powers and skills to help find the killer.
Twice the witch book two
This book is more on the paranormal side with Holly helping a ghost find her way and a killer. This one was a lot of fun and I loved it.
When the cousin of one of Holly's co-worker goes missing, Holly as local private investigator Nick to help find her. Then she discovers her ghost wondering around on the beach with no idea how she got there. Can Holly help the ghost and find a way to steer Nick onto the right track? The fact he is looking for a killer not a missing person?
Witch slapped book three
I normally don't like vampire books (because hey vampires are just creepy) but I actually enjoyed this one. There is so much for Holly to contend with in this book from her parole officer moving in, to meeting Adam's parents, to killer vampires and a murder to solve that it never slowed down or had time to get boring.
Holly joins Nick on one of his cases and find herself caught up in a murder investigation. Just when she needs to keep under the radar and be a good little witch but she can't let Nick investigate a case involving vampires, especially as he has no idea they even exist.
I like the narrator and she was the reason I have the series ago in the first place.
