I thought this book was absolutely excellent. As someone going through the menopause I’ve found I’m anxious about things I never even gave a second thought.. This book is helping me gain a better understanding and hopefully I can start to reduce my anxiety levels. Dr Sian Williams as you might expect is not only a brilliant psychologist but an excellent narrator Highly recommend.

There are so many stand out moments in this book, which is beautifully read by Dr Williams. For me, key elements included, making the story approachable, relatable and compelling. Particularly the openness and sharing of personal experience. Thank you!!

The care and empathy of the author towards her audience

The very calm, considerate way she speaks in the book, you feel like she's talking to you. The suggestions for managing anxiety and not running from it scared but accepting its part of you, and it can be useful and it can mean you have lots of positive qualities. There are exercises to complete that accompany the book too. A very good listen, that I will draw on time and again and recommend to friends who also struggle.

An excellent book for anyone seeking a different approach to managing anxiety.
