Created in the Emperor's own image, the primarchs had long thought themselves to be princes of the universe and masters of their own destiny - they led the Space Marine Legions in glorious conquest of the galaxy, and no enemy of the Imperium could stand against them. However, even amongst this legendary brotherhood, the seeds of dissent had been sown long before the treacherous Warmaster Horus declared his grand heresy.

Find out the deepest mysteries of the primarchs. Who is in control of Fulgrim's body - him, or a daemon? What happens when the Alpha Legion fights against itself? Just what secrets is the Lion keeping? And what could the tragic Ferrus Manus have done to prevent himself from becoming a head shorter?

3 excellent short stories (no spoilers), first follow up from 'Fulgrim' about the emperor's children.
Second on Iron Hands (first time listening on anything on those) and last on Alpha Legion, you can listen to the HH book 'Legion' but it's not a must think, good performance on them all

3 great books

After listening to a lot of the HH books, Finally this must be one of the best performed ive heard.

The stories are good though the first and second could do with being in reverse order.

The different narrators are great at the roles they read.

About time

it seems strange that the first two books aren't the other way around as events in the second are mentioned in the first. good storey overall and well performed too. well worth a credit with such a long run tine and several stories to enjoy in one purchase.

strange order of books

The fulgrim one was cartoonish and a bit silly, the ferrus manus one was just dumb and ferrus seems even lamer and dumber now, the lion one was stupid and had el Johnson doing some dumb shit, it dragged too. The omegon one was probably the best and was actually worth it.

Weakest so far
