I loved Wesley & Joy’s story. The audiobook is a short listen, dual pov and the narrators did a brilliant job. I’ve listened to a few books now narrated by Shane Martinez and she is so easy to listen too and makes the characters come to life. The story flows well and there are a few laugh out loud moments. I hope some the side characters get their own story as I’d love to know more.

I do enjoy a story that blends humour, a bit of heart, and some Christmas magic. The characters are strong but relatable. Would be even better as a full length novel.

Despite being born into New York’s high society, Joy just wants to be seen for who she is, not what she can offer. The problem is, she has just two weeks to get engaged to make her eligible to inherit millions.

New York Defenders Alaskan hero, Wesley Kane is going home for Christmas, but he doesn’t want to go alone. He needs someone to take with him to show his ex that he has moved on and is happy.

They’re the perfect match, what can possibly go wrong. The just have to pretend to be engaged for 10 days, including spending time with the others family and friends.

This is an enjoyable faking dating to real romance story with a little bit of spice thrown in. It has great characters and realistic situations and conversations. Make sure you’re comfortable as once you start you won’t want to put it down until you have read the last page.

Loved this audiobook, I’ve read the ebook and was awaiting the audio as it brings a new dimension to the story, and I was not disappointed the narrators have done a wonderful job bringing the characters and story to life and giving a depth to the story. I love this series of books by AJ and this was a brilliantly entertaining addition to it!.
