Having solved the case of the Suffolk Vampire, Inspector Betty Church and her colleagues at Sackwater Police Station have settled back down to business. I am enjoying this series, but it is a bit wacky, the story is very good and the characters are well rounded.
I will probably get the next in the series when it is out. I am happy to have spent a credit on it.

I was pleased to listen to Emma Gregory narrated this story as she does it well. The writing is good and the story evolves grimly and well. I was disappointed the Gower Street books ended but this series has picked up the thread well.
