A good narration throughout, only letdown really was the similarities between this and other big title books. I still enjoyed it enough to continue listening

This book is so hyped on all social media platforms and I was so so excited to listen to it. But the narrator doesn't do it for me and the storyline is actually not as great as the hype led me to believe. Maybe my expectations were just to high, but i am actually a bit disappointed.

For fans of fantasy romance, with plot twists and shocks that leave your jaw hanging open - this is for you! I thought I was pretty sure what would happen next and almost every time I was wrong!
Excellent story, perhaps slightly slow to get going in the middle sections but that's the only thing I can think of that keeps me from giving it every star imaginable! Chemistry between the characters and the premise is amazing! The narrator was so good and read with such emotion, I loved the little flickers or breaks in her voice during the harder parts to read! One of the best narrators I've heard in a long while and I have a LOT of audiobooks haha! :)

Brilliant book - can't wait to read book 2!

I liked the general story and liked Vincent, Oraya and Raihn personality wise, and the mystery behind them. However, I would have liked some more in depth background into their personas. Will start book 2 so hopefully that will be achieved there!
