The perfect listen for this Christmas. Great story, lovely characters. Fiction that doesn’t take itself too seriously and is all the better for it.

Enjoyed this short story which can be read as a stand alone book. I would also recommend reading the Chronicles of St Mary’s series from the beginning. Jodi Taylor’s work is brilliant.

A few editing errors but Jodi Taylor and Zara are as always a winning combination. I listen (and re listen) to St Mary’s and Time police constantly whilst sculpting and still gain great enjoyment and regularly hear something that I have previously missed. I can be heard chortling by myself on many an occasion.
As always a joy to hear.

In the era where Doctor Who has been relegated to NY (not the only disappointment of the Chibnall era - the scripts being rubbish is top of that list), it’s good some things can still be counted on to be there and great at Christmas. Max and Markham have their traditional festive jaunt in a less traditional way and the story is good - a great addition for those who love Christmas and a good distraction for those who don’t. Jodi Taylor has clearly worked hard to make St. Mary’s fans very happy.
