Really didn't feel like this went anywhere to be honest it was Erin greaving ,the wind runner as the story is titled disappears after the first couple of chapters and the rest by and large is characters I don't care about and plotlines I've started to skip "king" and "doctor" maybe there's something interesting there but really doesn't grip me at all.

As usual more excellence from Pirateaba and wonderful performances by Andrea Parseneau. This book spent more time away from the Inn than I would have liked but that only meant we got to catch up with the other inhabitants of the world (& meet some new ). I am now as always awaiting the next instalment with quivering anticipation.

10 books in and this is one of my 2 maybe my most favourite series of books that I am always waiting for more from.
I love the world building in this series SOOO much and am always disappointed when we don't hear what a character is up to in a long time.
I only put the performance down a star because the narrator has this one voice they use for multiple of the noble women that can be really hard to understand if your not in a silent room when listening to it but otherwise grate performance and the story is only missing a star because I was hoping for more from Ryoka as the book is called the wind runner and we haven't heard anything form them in like 3 or maybe 4 books.

although not much action in this one the story just flows 30 hours plus on most to these books and the world building is still going and seem like there's loads to go keep up the great work

Don’t like that these end before the next one’s ready. But v glad I listened. Interesting concept from start of series to this latest. So many intense characters. Well built. More please.
