Summary
The floodwaters have receded, and the war is over. A ruler has fallen. The Wind Runner lives, missing yet not forgotten.
The world is changing, growing larger. After the horrors of war and the loss of spring comes the renewal of summer, a chance for a new beginning.
Ryoka Griffin has reappeared in Izril's north. The Quarass is dead, yet the King of Destruction's war continues. In the jungles of Baleros, Geneva and her friends fall under the shadow of the Titan of Baleros. Amidst it all, Erin Solstice grieves for the dead and pulls her family close. Yet there is always a door leading her onwards to a magical future...

having only 2-3 Ryoka chapthers and calling the book the wind Ryoka is non logical, i kept waiting to get back to her but i didnt happend. jumping between Belaros and Chandra was a bit to much in this time around.
The voice acting is again top tier. and the overall story of this series is still one of my favourites in fantasty.
"Wind runner." contains not alot of wind running

that honestly seems like poor writing...
still a fine book, but honestly disappointed given the quality we've been used to
36hours of fluff

for those of you already on the Journey, this is the book that deals with the aftermath of the war at Liskor's gates. Rioca does make an appearance, but it is as yet unconnected to everything else in the book.
there are some transitions and major changes, as well as new players coming in with ones we already know. As well as a couple of Antipoden earworms, Thanks PirateAba!
I do feel there's far too much of Floss, (hence the 4 stars on the story) I personally find him dull dull dull. The players around him lose their lustre with their interactions with him. But that's just me.
as always, Andrea raises the bar of expectations with her performance. She blows certain other celebrated narrators of cult status out of the water. Her performance just sucks you into the world and you forget that she's actually female. That's how good she is.
this might be one of the shorter books in the series, but a lot of important stuff goes on, even if nothing momentous happens, except, maybe, the meeting of kings and empresses, that was excellent. The attention to detail in the writing is phenomenal.
I listen to these books when I'm making, I'm a full time potter with ADHD, so, essentially, I'm a Crafter, and losing myself in the story helps me get through all the repetitive tasks of my craft.
An excellent bridging book
