I loved the dual narration of Lilly Drake and DB West

This book is a dark paranormal romance.

Kace was made to become a fighter, from an early age. He has a curse that, makes go into a rage, which makes him a good fighter.

Eva had once been human, but her vampire ex, kidnaps her, sells her and turns her into a vampire. Months have passed and the only person who can actually help her out of her situation is Kace, a guardian. We have suspense romance and action

Kase is so broody and full of angst. He’s an alpha male who will do whatever it takes to save those who are important to him.
The angst between Kase & Eva is off the charts.
This was full of action, Magic, survival and more.

This is book 2 in the Curse of the Guardian series and is much darker and bloodier than Book 1! It had lots of exciting parts & I liked Eva & Kace, but I was disappointed at how they were separate for most of the book! Their steamy scenes were Hot!!!
The narrators had wonderful clear voices & great equipment, but I listened at 2x, which is super fast for me!
