rory characters grew up from book 1 to a stronger person in book 2. the more the scions try to make rory's life hard the more she fights back.I love how strong and determined Rory is despite all the cruel things are happened to her in her life.I loved book 2 and can't wait for more. eva wrote a great cast of characters in this series and meg and stephen did a great job also. I can't wait to see what happens next

I am loving this series so far it is captivating. This story is full of twists as Rory finds out more about her blood parents and her place in the Fearmancers world. The slowly developing relationships between Rory and the boys is so brilliantly written it is spellbinding. The narration is great I like that there is a male and female narrator for that extra dimension.

I'm so glad Rory is starting to question things and dig deeper into her past. Deborah's insistence that Rory shouldn't trust fearmancers is making her seem suspicious.

I know this is a slow burn RH but it's very slow. I'm having a hard time seeing how they'll all come together but hopefully it'll become more clear as the series progresses. Malcolm especially I can't see winning Rory over (or me lol)

Definitely a great sequel. If the first book was on the slower side, in this one a lot happens. I loved to see the developments with Jude and Declan, and Rory grows a lot as a character. Overall I loved the book!
The narrators were awesome, just like in the first book. Can't wait to start the next one :D
