• Tall Women Are EXHAUSTED | The Problem with Constant Visibility
    Jun 25 2026
Being a tall woman is definitely a unique experience.

Oftentimes, when we enter a room, we’re the first person people see, and they stare, whether they’re in awe of our physical presence or wondering how a woman could even be that tall. Extremely brave strangers come up to us and ask us questions and make comments about our height.

And honestly, sometimes these strangers don’t even come up to us and say these things. They’ll just stare and say the comments to the person they’re with without a care in the world, even if they see that we notice them talking about us. Like y’all do know that we know when you’re talking about us, right?

But what definitely goes unnoticed is the emotional fatigue and slight burnout tall women feel from the tall girl experience. So today, we’re talking about how the stares, the comments, and how constantly being perceived can take an emotional and mental toll on tall women and affect how we show up in our everyday lives. Tune in for more!

  • Why Are Tall Women Bullying Other Tall Women??
    Jun 18 2026
As tall women, we’re used to being bullied because of our height.

Maybe growing up, our classmates would ask “How’s the weather up there?” or call us things like jolly green giant or ‘67’ (I’m really not gonna get over that last one).

Little kids who are frightened by our towering presence call us monsters. Old people wonder how we’re gonna find a husband with our height. Family members and even close friends make unwarranted comments about our bodies. We’ve all experienced at least one of these things.

And that’s part of how we as tall women have built community, through these shared experiences. But apparently, the community is starting to turn on each other, aka bullying each other. And honestly, I never thought that could happen, but here we are.

In today’s episode, we’re going to discuss this and why some tall women bully other tall women, so tune in for more!

  • Why Aren't Tall Women Allowed to Express Their Emotions? | The Aggressive Tall Woman Stereotype
    Jun 11 2026
We all know that height affects how we’re perceived.

As tall women, we’re often seen as strong, dominant, and assertive, which I argue can be positive. People would be more likely to respect us and take us more seriously. It could even have a positive impact on our careers.

While that’s great and all, there’s almost this imaginary fine line where one “slip up” can have us cross it, and the positive viewpoints disappear.

When we get annoyed or stand up for ourselves, we’re being aggressive or intimidating.
When we get vulnerable and feel sad or down, people around us are less likely to take care of us.

When we voice wanting to be left alone or voice our frustration, people take that as a challenge and invitation to argue or even worse, fight.

In today's episode, we’re going to discuss how having height as a tall woman affects people’s perceptions of us, and because of that, we, to a certain degree, have to suppress our emotions to avoid a negative reaction. Tune in for more!

  • Is It A Problem When Tall Women Wear Heels? | The Complex Relationship Tall Women Have With Heels
    Jun 4 2026
Tall women have a very interesting relationship with heels.

Some tall women love a good heel, whether it’s your standard 1-2 inch heel or a full-on 6-7 inch platform. And while yes, it may not be the most practical on a night out, there are videos of tall women wearing these extremely high heels.

However, there are tall women who choose not to wear them. Some argue that they can be uncomfortable, which is understandable. Some don’t like sticking out in the crowd. Some don’t want the comments from other people that come with wearing the heels. Some choose not to because they don’t want to be taller than their partners. Or maybe their partners don’t want them to wear heels.

And these last few reasons kind of imply that tall women want to wear heels, but feel like they can’t. So, in today’s we’re talking about the complex relationship tall women have with heels and how many of us want to wear them to feel attractive and feminine, but can’t bring ourselves to do it. Tune in for more!

  • Tall Women Are Not Your “Bodyguards” | Why Are Tall Women Expected To Be Strong All The Time?
    May 28 2026
Let’s start this episode with a scenario.

You’re in school (whatever grade you want: middle school, high school, college, grad school even) and your teacher says she needs help carrying a bunch of textbooks from one classroom to the other. She doesn’t even let people volunteer; she just starts calling on people. As she is choosing people, she chooses you to help with these textbooks.

When you get to the room, you notice that out of all the students chosen, you’re the only girl in the group, as the rest are boys. Anyways, she starts giving textbooks to the students, and when she hands you four, she says “nice and strong” and smiles at you.

As you’re walking to the next classroom with these (very heavy) textbooks, you wonder, “Why am I the only girl where there are other boys in the class she could have chosen?”

Welp, we’ll be discussing the potential reason for this in today’s episode. Oh, and by the way, this is a true story. It happened to me in the 7th grade, and for context, I was the tallest girl in my grade.

So, we’re going to discuss the ‘strong stereotype’ associated with tall women, and trust me, it goes way deeper than carrying heavy textbooks. Tune in to the full episode for more!

  • The Toxic Pressure for Tall Women to Be Smaller | “Act Your Weight” & the Rise of SkinniTok
    May 21 2026
We all scroll on social media and come across hundreds and hundreds of pieces of content throughout the week.

Some funny, some relatable, and some harmful.

And today, we’re talking about a harmful piece of content.

The topic of weight is already a controversial and tricky one, especially in the tall girl community. Because everyone’s body is different and complex, when there’s talk about weight and what’s considered a “good weight”, there can be a lot of misinformation without thinking about genetics, body structure, and even height.

So today, we’re talking about a TikTok viral video that relates to this and how it’s harmful for tall women. Disclaimer: this episode includes topics around weight and disordered eating. If this is triggering for you, don’t tune in, but if not, feel free to check out the full episode!

  • The Hidden Cost of Being Feminine as a Tall Woman | Why Tall Women Struggle With Femininity
    May 14 2026
I’ve spoken quite a few times on this podcast about how tall women are masculinized.

It can look like people saying they feel “so small” around you. Always asking you to carry the heavy stuff because you’re “big and strong”. Being told you’re intimidating or scary. Misgendering even.

There are many examples of this actually happening to us, but not really the other side of things: us internalizing this and finding it weird or awkward to portray ourselves in a feminine way.

This is a struggle that many of us tall women face.

So we’re gonna talk a little bit about this in today’s episode and even take it a step further and talk about how when some tall women try to come across as/be feminine, they are “punished” for it. Tune in for more!

  • The "Tall Girl Friendly Scam" on TikTok | Tall Women Are Getting Heightfished...
    May 7 2026
Trying to find clothes as a tall woman is already a struggle. Mainly because it’s hard to find options, especially in-store options, that fit our long limbs.

    So what do we do?

We take our struggles to the Internet.

Social media and Internet forums have become a place where communities can gather and share ideas. So, when tall women are in need of recommendations and advice, they tend to hit places like Reddit, Instagram, and of course, TikTok.

I mean, when scrolling through TikTok, you can find hidden gems, especially on the TikTok shop feature. However, there’s some fishy stuff going on with TikTok Shop. Like clothes being advertised as tall girl friendly when the person talking about them isn’t even truly tall.

Today, we’re talking about one of the bigger and newer scams in the tall girl fashion world and how social media is honestly making the situation a bit worse. Tune in for more!
