Come, Follow Me Moms Podcast June 29–July 5 | 1 Kings 12–13; 17–22 "If the Lord Be God, Follow Him" Welcome back to another episode of Come, Follow Me Moms!
This week we dive into one of the most powerful stories in the Old Testament—the story of Elijah. From the widow of Zarephath, to Mount Carmel, to the still small voice, we discover that this lesson isn't really about fire from heaven. It's about choosing God.
As moms, we often find ourselves caught between faith and fear, trust and control, peace and worry. Elijah's question to Israel becomes a question for us:
"How long halt ye between two opinions? If the Lord be God, follow him." (1 Kings 18:21)
In this episode we talk about what it looks like to trust God when we don't have enough, how to hear His voice in a noisy world, why fear of failure keeps us stuck, and why commitment to Christ matters more than perfection.

Mom Challenge This Week Take a few quiet moments this week and ask yourself:
❤️ Where am I standing between two opinions?
❤️ Where am I trusting fear more than God?
❤️ What is competing for my trust and attention?
❤️ What would it look like to choose Christ more intentionally this week?
Not perfectly.
Not flawlessly.
Just intentionally.
Because if the Lord be God...
Follow Him.
Remember, Mom The scriptures are full of imperfect people whom God used to accomplish extraordinary things.
The widow wasn't perfect.
Elijah wasn't perfect.
The people of Israel weren't perfect.
And neither are we.
God knows that.
He works with imperfect people every single day.
The question isn't whether you're perfect.
The question is:
Which way are you facing?
If this episode blessed your life, would you share it with a friend? You never know who may need a little extra encouragement this week.
